School Science – Do you love science or perhaps have less than warm and fuzzy feelings about the subject.  Take the survey and let Science Alcove know.

Early Years Science Passion

School science was a passion of mine.  As a kid, I was the one leaving my house in the wee hours of the morning to observe the birds and bugs in my back yard.  Give me puddle of water and I could find lots of creatures to observe, draw and later research.  In my preteen years I asked for and received  a microscope as a Christmas present.  Like Anton van Leeuwenhoek, I was passionate about looking at drops of pond or aquarium water and drawing the creatures I found swimming.

School Science, I Loved It!

In school, science quickly became my favorite subject.  Biology, chemistry, physics and environmental science were all covered between grades 1 and 12.  Any idea which ones became my favorites?

Survey Says?

Science Alcove would like to know how you feel or felt about science in school. Share on X Were you a lover or a hater of school science? Are you a bright-eyed kid? Or perhaps you’re an older student re-entering the hallowed halls of higher education?  Either way I invite you to participate.  Even if, like me, you’re in the workforce or getting ready to retire, think back to the smell of text books and chalk-dust and give it a go.
