Home photography provides easy subjects for practicing with a new camera.  This photo for my first assignment in Photography 101 was taken using my Canon Digital Rebel.  I used the landscape idiot proof setting.  I have not yet ventured much past the automatic functions of my camera.   Hopefully, Photography 101 will help me with that. Autumn in Ontario can be beautiful.  This is the scenery I see looking out my bay window in our sun room.  We live on 100 acres in the Oak Ridges Moraine area of South Central Ontario.  All of the seasons hold their charm in the moraine and the scenery never disappoints!  This is where I call home.  More home photography will follow.  I am hoping to become stronger in taking night images to capture the fireflies that delight our landscape from late May until mid-July!
