This marsh is found behind the old mill in Millbrook, Ontario. It is known as the Millpond and is a beautiful spot to visit in the summer. Herons, turtles and fish are plentiful in this beautiful marsh. Walking trails closeby are a peaceful way to explore the area for miles. It is an excellent example of a wetland habitat, a perfect spot for natural education. The photo was taken with my Canon Rebel and is unaltered. This photo is part of the Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge. Click to find the rules. Check out other entries in this week’s Nature challenge.

I wanted to add that for some reason I did not get your link until yesterday. Hope that you can get me your entry a bit earlier for last week’s challenge. It benefits you to be on the list earlier. I’m pleased to have you as part of our photo community and the fun.
Right now your photo challenge is also part of my Friday Nature Photo series. Is it possible to submit the link before the photo posts?
Nicely captured image of nature’s quiet yet teaming process. It looks like a location that lends to contemplation and serenity. Happy Photo Challenge.
It is very serene. The walking trails that surround the marsh are well used in our area. It has both environmental and historical significance. It is where Millbrook got its name from!
What a lovely site you have there, Teresa! Great shot.
Thanks seeker. Yes it is a peaceful spot. Love taking my dogs for walks in the trails close by.
Thanks for the pingback and welcome to the phoneography challenge. It is a fun way to showcase your pics. Your photo does the marsh justice and belies the rich biological organisms you will find there!
No problem. I have been participating for the last month. It is a great challenge that I’ve managed to fit in to my Friday Nature Photo feature. Glad you enjoyed the marsh picture. It is a soothing place to visit.
