Indeed – great textures and interesting subject matter. It would great on a beach apartment wall in poster format. Thanks for the pingback.
I agree, it would be a great poster. I was enjoying my last day at the beach with my son and thought about textures while walking on the beach. I took some closeups of sand and waves and stones with an eye for different textures I might be able to use on my blog at a later time. They might look good enlarged and used as art for my home! They have great memories!
Your son might even like the photos as a wall decoration! I would!!
Look at those seashells. Your iPhone takes better picture than the second hand camera I have. Now you are on the roll. Hope that you will join the Week Photo Challenge. Happy Thanksgiving, Teresa.
I’ll look for it. I enjoyed this one. I’d like to make it a weekly event anyway. Happy Thanksgiving to you too Seeker.
I really like this photo, nice close-up of the stones and shells. This is the kind of place I love to be to just look at and enjoy what the beach has for us. I’m glad you entered the phoneography challenge.
Teresa, welcome to the challenge and the fun with the group in the photo community. Your image is symbolic of the fragility and strength of nature: seashells and stones. The circular format makes me think of the circle of life that they also represent. Happy Photo Challenge. (If you add some of the other entries from my post, others will visit your blog.)
I will do that lensandpensbysally. Thanks for the welcome and the beautiful commentary regarding my photograph. The beach in Bright’s Grove is my favourite place to be with my sons. As they are growing older, I visit there with them less often. That also reminds me of the circle of life. Children grow older and find their own way. But the beach with its endless waves, sand, shells and stones will always carry reminders of the special times I share with my children. Hopefully, they will bring their own children there to share those memories!
